Anyone know whats wrong with my speedo?

Recommended Posts

I took my car out of the garage today and I noticed that although the lights on the cluster work it stays at zero no matter how fast I go. Has anyone had any experience with this? Please help. :(

This is a new one. Does the analog gauge work?

It could be your ABS or speed sensors. Is there an ABS warning light? Spoiler warning light? Any error codes?

its the digital speedo that stays on zero, also my airbag warning light is on but its been that way for a while. I've been meaning to get airbag light reset (it went off when I took the seats up to clean under them) but i've been out of town. any ideas?

There's one of the rear wheel speed sensors that provides the vehicle speed for the car. However, the ABS module has to pass on the data to the cluster. I suspect if the ABS warning is not on, the fault lies between the ABS module and the cluster.
