02 + cup holder on 2000 dash?

Recommended Posts

  • 1 month later...

is it possible to fit the 02+ 996 cup holder on a 2000 996 dash?

what is involved?

I had a similar question... So if you change the surround and the vents is it possible? or do you have to change the vent portion behind the vents... Want cup holder but not thrilled with side vent type nor the big double set up that moves the AC to lower center console.....

Don't do it. I think the look of the cup holders is awful. They small and flimsy. Stick with stock and do exactly what Capt601 suggested. As him, I also have the ultimate cupholder and it works fantastically. Can hold big and small cups, is on the floor and out of the way, and best yet, if there is a spill, it stays on the floor and doesn't get all over the dash, center console, and shifter.
