Unable to remove ashtray

Hi, I have previously removed the center console piece. I must have overtightened the ashtray or did not screw it back right such that I can't remove the ashtray anymore.

Here's the situation - I can turn both the bolts that hold the ashtray, but they don't come off. Must be the nuts that are holding them on the opposite end moving with them.

The reason I'm doing this is because one of the button blanks (normally where the heated seat buttons are) fell inside and I need to retrieve it.

Your advice is most needed :(

you can lever them oout with a screwdriver. they are only plastic.

Should be easy to drill...

no need to drill them at all, they're just plastic pins like Rich said, get nose pliers and pull them out if they're really bad, or pry them up with a coin or small screwdriver if they have some play
