Borla exhaust

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm thinking to install this borla exhaust on my 02 986s.

Anybody have it already?

How was it?

Here is the link: http://www.borla.com/products/product_deta...prod_sku=140115

Thanks. :P

I have the Borla and it's loud, but I love the sound. I do have resonance below 3000rpm. I also installed a 2nd Cat Bypass from fabspeed and its' even louder. The Porsche shop who installed the bypass pipes said that it sounds like a GT3 cup car. So if you don't mind waking up your neighbours, this is the exhaust to get.

I don't fee any power increase with the exhaust alone, but it sounds like it's going faster!

Hello all,

I am new to this forum but an old fan of Porsche.

It's weird that there are only two video clips of Boxster with Borla exhaust from the entire Internet. I used all kind of search engine and still came up with only two.

Here is one of it:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=46...&pr=goog-sl

Anyone knows of any other sound/video clips for Borla? From the above clip, IMO it sounds like a super car on race track, I mean "WOW!!!..."

however, the reving at the begining of the clip is kind of strange, maybe that's just the audio being compressed so much. I hope that some of us have a sound/video clip to share...

Thanks.
