Hey All,

I just bought my 97 boxster last year and ran into this. Both sides of my convertible snapped as I waited for the convertible to close. One side I realized its the pushrod ending (white piece) the other side is the part where the pushrod connects to. I can't figure it out what it is so I'm attaching a picture with the broken piece attached. Its the piece that the white piece connects to.

Looks like the mounting point for the pushrod broke off the top frame. Not good. $$$.

Look at the other side of your top to determine what part the broken piece came off of. Then go to your dealer's parts department, with cash.
