Noisy A/C on C4S, and the dealer doesn't know what it is...

I wonder if anyone's come across a similar problem to that which I've got on my '02 C4S.

The A/C is noisy when the compressor's running. It sounds like a bearing's going - there's a whiring, grinding noise and it's at it worst when the engine's running down as I come up to a junction, but I also hear it when you just blip the throttle. If I turn off the A/C, it stops right away. The wierd thing is that my dealer has already changed the compressor and it's just the same noise. Has anyone come across anything similar - a noise from the A/C which isn't linked to low gas pressure and isn't the compressor? My dealer's a little lost at the moment - they're trying hard to find it, but they and Porsche UK haven't come up with anything other than "we'll need to have another look".
