Could be the MAF is damaged.

Loren couple of more days driving still no CEL but I noticed when the car was fully warmed

up that it wouldn't, when stationary in Neutral, REV more than circa 4,0/4,25 RPM which is obviously not normal, Turbo boost is still fine at 1.2/1.3 Bar, anymore thoughts ? Car has done 25K miles

I think there is a rev limit in neutral on a Tiptronic but not 6 speed.

Which is your car?

Tiptronic, and I haven't done this before so that may be possible, I 'm just used to the Stradale at 9,000rpm I guess, when is the normal service plug change as maybe I have overdone the plugs with the higher boost/airtake my car is May 2001 as well so will not have the higher heat range as OEM ?, it either that or the fuel pump on the way out I'm sure but probably totally wrong .) In gear my car will go to the redline but misfire in 3rd

A misfire but no codes?

Sounds like someone needs to look at the TRA/FRA, MAF volume, and O2 sensor readings and compare them to known good running car.

Where are you located?

Zurich, Switzerland Loren which isn't very helpful, maybe I take it for the 40,000 KM service a soon as its getting close
