And this seems to be a known issue for sometimes now, and it seems to be on all Porsche models!

Have anyone have this experience?

So this means, you could buy a pair Litronics of eBay and they could actually be a pair of headlight from your friend, this is sad!

Is there a way to install a small switch that could be tied into the alarm system and would trigger if the lens cover were disturbed.

Here in Belgium we have a company that engraves the VIN # in any important part of the car as a theft prevention.

They then put these 2x5" stickers around the engravements on the windows to make it clear that the car is "tagged".

Sounds like a good idea to solve this problem.
