  1. If you ran the car out of fuel, the pump may be bad now. this is pretty common. Checking for fuel pump power with just the ignition on will not give you what you want. You have to check wiring diagram if your not getting power. Usually the DME commands the fuel pump to turn on but again will have to check this. for xample some model run the pump when you open the door to prime the system before starting etc. during key on situation the pump will usually not run. it would be better to check while cranking. hope this helps

  3. Hi All, 2006 Cayman S The lower left stalk on the steering column is not functioning. The one that controls the OBC/MFA/GRA or whatever you prefer to call it? Basically you cant check the oil level is the problem and the switch is un-responsive to anything. any tips??
  4. Hey Everyone, 1999 996 C2 Cab Does anyone have a picture or diagram for installing a new clam shell motor - comes with an update kit with new mount bracket etc. Looks like the old piece needs to cut off and the new section fitted and bolted/welded. Cheers.
  5. a quick google search bring up this.. which i have successfully installed before for someone. http://www.vertexauto.com/cayenne-drive-shaft-repair-clamping-support-mount-p-10391.aspx i'm pretty sure porsche does not sell the support bearing only a complete shaft, hence the aftermarket solution. cheers
  6. Update - we ran a tranny calibration with the pwiz and ended up clearing the faults with an aftermarket scanner... For whatever reason the faults would not clear with the P Scanner. Test drive and Faults have not returned yet....
  7. So I have a PDK fault that wont clear, p18C0 <-- havent seen this one before and cant pull up any info. Resulting in no sport mode, psm faults and corresponding dme fault. As always any input is appreciated. Cheers!
  8. There is apparently a method of filling the entire system from r/f strut pressure line.... does anyone know if there is a service port or will i have to create some sort of adapter?
  9. Greetings 2010 Panamera 4S Fault... PASM Fault: 000315 - Level Control Switched OFF / Jack mode on. (Hard Fault wont clear...) Symptoms... Height Control Button on consol innop... Front end all the way down... Rear End all the way up... Sport Mode features Innop due to PASM Fault.... Any ideas? cheers!
  10. So the "Pressure Sensor" is bolted to the inside of the inner door panel of the drivers door. the vehicle had a broken wire in the door jamb - causing the intermittent fault - the wire was repaired and the sensor was still replaced for good measure since the door was all apart. cheers
  11. I think More importantly im looking to find out if this is for the igniter in the seat or the impact sensor on the floor pan? the fault was pulled with a Piwis Tester II and im not familiar with the "pressure sensor" wording thanks!
