  1. Need help finding cabriolet top sensor's locations, so I can check one by one .
  2. The top on the car is stuck in the open position and I can't get it to close . It will starts to close and the clam shell and the flaps get fully open and out the way, then every thing stops all I hear is clicking after that ( electrical sounds ) . I tried to calibrate with Durametric but every thing stops at the same point . I even tried to manually to close the top but it only left 4 inches and I don't wont to force it or break any thing . Is any one out their have the proper procedure to close it manually so I can go though and check the oil level and sensors . I did removed the back cover to access the pressure relief valve for the pump and that how I can left the top only 4 inches . Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance for all your help.
  3. Thanks for the fast respond , I have to track back and find out when and where it was replaced ,
  4. Hi Every One and Happy New Year , As I was changing my spark plugs and coils I noticed my engine Id numbers , so tried to match it with the under the hood and its different. Under the hood says its M96/0366Z.... and on the Engine says M96/04Y14023. So my engine had been replaced some time ago . Not bad thing in my book . so what year is this engine was manufactured? I have 2002 Cab . 6sp . Thanks .
  5. Thanks for all the responds , The module is installed and it only took very short time , I installed it on the upper light do to city driving , No resistor was needed and the cruise control works flawlessly , After installation drove the car to city Police Department and asked to speak to officer on duty, to find out if it's going to be problem . after he looked at it he brought out his Sargent who was 2005 997.1 owner to find out where I bought the module because he wont one to install on his car. I was assured it was legal and few of the new cars already have that feature. Again Thanks for all the support .
  6. Need Help again , working on my02 cab, won't to add strobe module to my third brake light, Do I need to add two modules one for each ,or can I just add one to the main third brake light wires ? I have been searching for the diagram. and the location of the main wires . Thanks for all the help.
  7. Thanks for the respond, I used the factory wires and it sound great .
  8. I have 2002 cab with factory amp that I am replacing a 6x40 none Bose , replacing it with after market 640 amp 5 CH. The question is do I need to rewire my door speakers ?? or can use the old wiring? going from 2 ohms to 4 ohms , Or I can take out the inline capacitor if their is one. I already replaced my head unit and the all the other speakers . and if their is capacitor where is it located . Thanks
  9. I also get that when I am running around and doing short stops.
  10. Hi Rob, What is the color of the security wire , Because I have the same issue and how to correct it , just disconnect all together? I did my own install on my double din . Thanks . Bill
  11. You need nothing , I just finish adding Double Din and Nav. in my car . The cd holder and the climate controller is the same size and the harness is long enough . Bill.
