Hi, Having just done my front pads and discs I like to remove the callipers to get them clean. The nipples only just came out and one hose connector was very badly corroded. We have just had them snap off on out AMG callipers and became a massive job with helicoils to repair them. My advice do a fluid change and get some stainless nipples M10 with 1mm pitch very common size. Hoses also change to stainless.
At a glance the head light washers are dome on the early cars and under a flap on the later.
