Latest buzz I'm hearing is that engines can fail from worn out water pumps. One guy told me he's seen several in recent months that totaled the car because it was older.

Some people see a doctor right away about possible injuries to get more leverage. Sad, but insurance companies seem to respond better to that. There are time limits to see the doctor in some states. Maybe because people went later because they were unhappy with insurance company offers for car damage.

There are several new alternative 295/35R21" Torres now that are pieced more competitively. Vredestein has one and there is at least one more European made 295 introduced in this past year. My recollection is they were in the $200s. With the fall of the Euro, you will see more of this. They were hard to get last year because of hi demand, but supply should be catching up this year. They have been discussed on several Cayenne forums. Another idea, I bought a nice set of 4 late date Contis, one at a time, with 75% tread and had them installed for a total of $500 for the set. So there are alternatives. Do some digging and you might not have to buy new rims and spend so much.

If the car is nice and u like it u could always consider shopping around to have another engine installed. Even a 3.8...
Cayenne Diesel fault code P13E600. Any ideas?

Just clear the fault code and drive on happily.
