Alternator Starter cable replacement
in 996 TT, 996 TT S, 996 GT2
Posted
Hello,
I am in progress to replace the alternator starter harness (or cable). I removed the alternator and trottle body. According to 996 Carrera tutorials I should remove the the first intake plenum to access the starter connections but it is not the same in the turbo and it is very crowded with hoses. I am not sure if I am going in the right direction and how to proceed. I cannot find a tutorial for the 996 Turbo, only for the Carrera.
Any suggestions?
thank you
