So let me get this straight... The shop still thinks the coil packs are bad? That's the easiest thing to check. If you pull the power to one of them, and the engine runs rough, it was a good coil. If it doesn't change, it's a bad coil. I think you need a new shop

If you are going to follow the A-pillars, you're going to have to at least cut the heck out of the dash. As with most race cars, build the car for safety, then deal with having a dash or not.

SAI pump or find a vacuum leak
