New filter, no fuel pressure at rail. Tried a new crank position sensor, no dice.

I threw a rod on my original engine. So I ordered a motor from a wrecked car. After all of the parts were swapped over and engine installed it won't turn over. It will crank, but there is no fuel delivery. The engine will run if forced fuel into it. The shop suspects the DME. The fuel pump works and obviously the starter. I had some weird possible dme related issues at the track where the car would shut off under acceleration, but would turn back on with a turn of the key and a push of the clutch. '00 996 carerra.
Any suggestions?!

No fuel pressure. Key set DME and all the rest was swapped over today. No turnover not even from the starter.
This is backwards from where we were. At least the car turned over without ignition before. I don't know where to go from here :(
