  1. Teardown of car is complete. Have allot of parts that we wont need. Anyone looking for ME7.2 ECU? Security Module and Key PSM Traction Control Unit Tiptronic ECU. Many other parts/pieces. Any need out there?
  2. Thanks for the info. Will definitely pass the info regarding the engine onto our guys. I feared as much in regards to the Porsche intellectual property gambit. Makes my life much harder. I will look into the Bentley manuals, hopefully they have what we need.
  3. We are undertaking a new build in a couple months. We are taking a 1999 996 C4 and converting it into a rally car. Not our first Porsche build, but the newest we are undertaking. I am looking for complete wiring diagrams for the car and any info available for engine related electronics. A few basic questions as I am very new to this generation of car: I imagine the ECU is locked down, is there any chance it can be tuned? Transmission controller built into the ECU? (automatic transmission... yes I know, who would race an automatic... but we have an idea? or we yard it out and go to a Sequential). Odd proprietary electronic equipment that will make my life interesting? We are likely to remove all of the stock wiring and ECU(s) and go with a full MoTeC system (allot of experience with MoTeC, so its a 95% chance thats what we will do). I would like to find the diagrams for free, as most of the car will be stripped to the bare minimum and I dont need info on how to replace an interior widget/owners manual. I am looking for the raw diagram so that I can see what I absolutly need. Any info, thoughts, re-directs or tips would be greatly appreciated. In turn I can keep you updated on the build (if interested). Regards, Bryan
