my car is a 2003 coupe. Recently, my left turn signal started the infamous fast blinking, which usually means that a bulb is out. Since the front turn signal wasn't lit, I figured that was the one.
So, I used the tool from the kit and removed the headlight assembly, found the bulb and replaced it (the old bulb didn't look bad). This did not solve the issue. I still get the fast blinking with the left turn signal.
I've gone through the process several times to make sure that I replaced everything correctly.
any other thoughts?

for the upcoming off-season, I'm thinking about rebuilding my brake calipers. They've never been rebuilt and the car has seen a good amount of track time. Is there a good DIY for the 996 caliper rebuilding? Also, is there anything particular that I should look for during the rebuilding? how do you cap off the fluid lines?

has anyone come up with a method of brake cooling? I've installed the 997 GT3 brake ducts, but still looking for better cooling.
It seems that all of the cooling hoses that are available are only applicable through the 993 models.
thanks,

Yes, but the PSS9's will go faster since the coils are already mounted on the struts.will these basic instructions also work for the PSS9's? I have a 2003 996.TIA,

thanks, Loren. BTW, what is a rough estimate on time???

Loosen the drive shaft nut before you raise the car. Then disconnect it at the wheel carrier.

I've also heard that you shouldn't use the engine as a jack point for 996's. I place the rear jack stands on a chassis connector point just inside of the tires.

the only light not flashing is the drivers front turn signal.
