Thanks for that Coker. So is the G2 Paint more heat resistant than catalyzed urethane paint (standard car finish) ?

I have used it on two different cars with no issues.  It goes on like glue.   Its will smooth out as it dries so don't be alarmed.   Just clean the calipers real well and your first coat really thin.  So thin you will be able to see through it.

  2. Both center vents left and right have stopped blowing air.   Everything else works properly. The dura code I am getting is 0657.  Which is central vent servo error.  The parts diagram is showing a #3 and #16 servo.  one for left central vent and one for the right central vent.   I guess I would need both?    Would they would both go out at the same time ??   Or could it be something else causing it?

  3. G2 Caliper Paint.    If you take your time, you can do it right without taking them apart.  Follow instructions.  Clean with the brake cleaner included with kit and a good brass brush.   I used steel wool as well.   First coat was thin and then two more heavier coats.  It will smooth out as it dries.   Came out awesome.

Go to maxspeed-motorsports.com for the Porsche decals or stencils.

  4. Update,  cleared code and drove it around the block, no issues.  Parked for the day and came back later, got about a mile out from home and started skipping.  302 code on the same cylinder.  Replaced the coil and all is fine.   Got in this morning, started it up and threw a 202 code(fuel injector out of range) but runs great.   Running great all morning.  Still thinking injector 2 is going bad.

Not suprised about the coils or possible injector.  I have have already had to replace one coil.  If I am not mistaken the injectors and coils are original with 140k miles.

  5. Live in SC and the temps have dropped 20 deg the last couple of days.  Been around 50 deg in the morning.  Check engine light came on with a 202 injector circuit code along with Secondary Air code.  Is it possible the secondary air caused the 202 injector code?   I am thinking the cold weather may expose an issue with one of my secondary air injectors.  140k and they have never been replaced. no noticeable issues driving.

The diagram shows a left center #3 and a right center #16 motor.  Both center vents are not blowing air.  I have dual air climate control.  I am assuming from the diagram that was sent to me with the with the #3 highlighted that I only have one that controls both my center vents and its the #3, or do I need to be concerned with the #16 as well.

Dual Climate, both center left and right vents are closed off.  Code displaying on scan tool, 0657  Central vents servo.
