  1. What is the torque spec for the GT3 front brake caliper pin bolt? This is the bolt on the end of the heavy duty pin holding the brake pads and spring in place.

    Sir;

    How did you get the subject pin bolt off? Mine are VERY tight. Is the thread cw or ccw? The pin bolt head will rotate only a few degrees. Thanks.

  2. Here is a picture of a 996 GT3 brake pin. It looks standard with the

    circle clip to hold it on. I would phone Sunset Imports and ask

    the Porsche guy if the pin is standard. See part 15.

    Thanks for trying. The drawing does not describe my 997 GT3 brake pin, which does not have a circle clip.

  3. I need some help! I purchased new front pads for my 997 GT3 and do not understand how to remove the old pads. The pin which secures the pad expanding spring appears to be threaded and does not match the assembly depicted in the forum's pad change procedure. Anyone have experience with this issue?

  4. I own a 2007 GT3 for which I have purchased new rear brake pads, Pagid Yellow 19's. I will appreciate someone providing the torque spec for brake caliper bolts and rotor screws. Thanks in advance!

  5. I purchased an X74 kit from Gert at Carnewal. I have begun my attempt to install it myself, beginning with the front. I downloaded a procedure for M030 installation to use as a guide but it has become appearant that front strut removal on a Carrera 4 is different than a C2. Can anyone help me find instructions for removal of front struts on a Carrera 4?
