  1. Loren, Do you have a part # for the 997 Cup Car brake ducts? Also wondering if they are larger like they are for the 996's GT3/RS vs Cup Car. Thanks, -Paul
  2. Hoppy, I recently purchased a Porsche Roof Transport with 1 bike carrier. It doesn't look like I will be using it after all. I am in the US. I would be willing to sell it to you for what I paid, you cover shipping. email me if interested for details. paul.alexandre@gmail.com PS: that is one great avatar and signature pic. :)
  3. David, Splendid, exactly the kind of answer I needed. Would love to learn the spring rates as a point of reference. Regards, -Paul
  4. Loren or any others who may have the info. I have found the spring rates for US standard susp, ROW standars susp, US M030 and ROW M030 and even for the GT3. Does anyone have or know the spring rates for the X74 suspension? Looking at a potential upgrade and wanted to see if the X74 is even worth it compared to the US M030 that came with my car. Looking to get near GT3 level of suspension on a MY 99 C2 996.
  5. For the abusers of the owner of this car and his purported lack of funds (sheesh what a leap) check out the link to FVD where the gentleman had the 3.8 997S Engine Conversion performed for $23,435. OUCH. https://shop.fvd.de/?VID=37854&VCD=8158...y=&CarYear=
  6. Hi, Has anybody tried using the standard 17" rear wheels on the front of the narrow body 996? I was thinking of running 17X9's all around for the track not only for a better footprint upfront but also for being able to rotate tires front to back to maximize the life of the R compounds. Looking for observations on fittment on this approach. Thanks much, -Paul
  7. I just went through this same PITA last week for MY 99 996. I ended up calling Continental Warranty at 1-888-773-9836. This is not an ad, just who I ended up buying from. I got the Freedom, 4 year, 49K miles with $100 ded. Hold out and they will drop the price to $2500.
