Hi,
my parking assist cameras have stopped working, one of the errors I get is C12036 No communication with real top view control unit.
Having found the unit, eventually, behind the Bose unit on the right hand side of the rear cargo hold after removing most of the trim in there, and removing the multi plug I found evidence of corrosion. I can see 13 volts in the power supply, by multimeter, and have cleaned and reconnected but still won’t communicate. How can I tell if the unit is OK?
Do I need a Porsche dealer to reprogramme in order to get the Gateway unit see they real top view control unit?
Thanks Barry

Found the solution, the circuit board inside to control unit was corroded at the power input, cleaned resoldered and now working! That’s saved a fair few pounds, just all the trim to put back
