  1. Hello
In the Porsche Cayenne S 4.5 955 car, after unscrewing the oil filler cap, there is sludge on it and a bit inside on the chain.  After removing the dipstick, nothing special except oil.  You can feel gasoline on the cap and the oil filler.  Rust is embedded in the chain.  The car does not show any symptoms, from time to time it shows error P0456 (Evaporativ Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak), but it is checked by a normal diag, I do not have PIWIS.

The car became unused for 3 weeks. I don't know if rust could form after this time if there was moisture inside. In the second photo you can see part of the chain after starting and stopping the car.

As I recall the antenna for non- Kessy key is in the A-pillar (near the front windshield).

So the rear hatch may not respond as fast - especially to repeated signals.

The response does seem a little weak but maybe close normal. I'll look for other Cayenne owners to chime in here too.Even

I have a problem with it even if I'm at the driver's door. There used to be heavy rain and I wanted to open the car, but before I opened it I was wet

    Porsche Entry & Drive System

The Porsche Entry & Drive system is offered as an optional step-up in convenience (ID-Number for all models); this system offers, in addition to the “Ignition Lock with Single-key System” described above, keyless operation of the vehicle. Porsche Entry & Drive consists of a system using interior and exterior antennas, an integrated identification generator in the vehicle transmitter, proximity sensors as well as a locking button in the exterior door handle surrounds. The driver carries an ID sender (electronic mini transmitter emitting an identification code), which is integrated into the vehicle key.

Does your car have the  Kessy system, "Porsche Entry & Drive"?

If so, you will likely need a PIWIS tester to diagnose and perhaps update the program.

I don't have Kessy option in my car.

  5. Hello

I have a problem with my Cayenne S '05. I think there is something with the antenna signal. When I try to open the door with the key, I can do it with about 1-3m. When I drive the car a few minutes and finish, I try to close the door with the key, but the door does not close. I click the button several times, the green lamp on the key lights up and after several attempts the door closes. Sometimes I have to put the key a few millimeters from the door and sometimes help. When after that I wait a moment and tries to open the door is the same problem. It is the same with the window tailgate opening button.

The car battery was being charged, the key battery was being replaced. I don't know what the problem may be.

I will add that the opening button (the one with the wiper) does not work for the tailgate.
