  1. Hello, Replaced my battery and no code. It is a CDR 210 s/n V5007161. Can you please help me with a code?

Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

Thanks for the try but it didn't work. After I enter the code the 1st digit still blinks. I tried two digits out (i.e 9641, 9647, 9649), still no luck. Any other suggestions? Do I need to contact the dealer at this point?

  2. Hi,

I just wanted to get some opinions on what I did to my stock muffler to change the sound a little on my boxter.I welded 3/4 stainless pipe from the inlets of the stock boxter muffler to the tailpipe bypassing a little of the flow past the stock muffler straight out of the tailpipe.I also changed the stock headers to high flow performance headers.I posted it on myspace. You will see the pic for the video ..it is a rear shot of a white boxter. Please watc the video, and give me your opinion about the sound. If it sounds bad I am going to replace the muffler.Just to warn you the video quality is terrible, because I used my cellphone...lol.You wont hear the rev until the end of the vid..it is about 42 seconds long. The url is www.myspace.com/bobby976,or you can watch it here

...Thank you for your time everyone.. :) :renntech:

I think it sounds pretty good. Can you provide a quick technical writeup on the procedure?

    Thanks

  3. 1997-1999 mufflers mount the same. So if it was on a 1999 you should have no problem putting it on your 1998.

Hmm, that the first I have heard that. I checked with Porsche dealer and they confirmed a different bracket setup. I also called a couple of aftermarket exhaust companies, including B&B and they said it wouldn't work. Have you tried it?

    Thanks

  4. I have a 98' Boxster and I have a chance to purchase a used B&B exhaust that was on a 99' for a really good price. I realize that there is a different mounting setup, but I heard about a conversion bracket that is sold for this purpose. I can't seem to find anything. Has anybody heard about this and know where I can get one?

    Thanks!
