just for closure its all fixed. realigned the fingers and it runs spot on.

im struggling tonadd a pic as everything is. bigger than the 2mb limit.
ive got it mostly built back up so ill see if its worked in the next day or so

lol. its on the back of the inlet camshaft bank 2. ive bent one of the smaller pins refitting the valve covers

yes thats the little bugger on the back of the camshaft. im in Leicestershire

right ive done something very silly.
ive managed to bend one of the little pins on my cam shaft on bank 2.
cant actually believe how easy it is to do that.
anyway is there an establish method for getting it back in tolerance?
is it likely that the ring could have slipped changing its position on the camshaft?
my current plan is to mesure the gap between the sensors and the pick up with some gauges and set the bent one back to the same spacing.
have i got any hope at all 🙄

i dont but was able to get the position right by mesuring it with a caliper and feeler gauges. when compared to the other bank.
its not showing any warning lights and if anything it feels steonger than ever.
