  1. Hi Loren,

I disconnected the battery for five minutes and the

engine warning light is off. My car now shows two failures.

The PSM and the PASM are both in failure mode. I replaced

the stock brakes with Blue brakes and zip tied the senors

out of the way. Do You have any sugestions?

Thank you for helping me with the engine warning light

because I would want that to work more than the

    PSM and the PASM lights.

  2. Paul, I have a Racing Dynamics strut brace on my 987S. It was a simple bolt-on procedure. No changes to the battery. Brace goes in front of the battery. You may need to re-position the battery.

Work on level ground. Dry fit first. Then remove 2 of the 3 bolts per side. Install and tighten everything up.

Make sure you don't over-torque the strut bolts. I think they are 26 ft/pounds.

    Hi,

I posted the link. Seems a little pricey. Looks

    like it will work fine.

    Thanks,

    Paul

  3. Paul,

There is no difference between the ATE Typ 200 (gold) and the ATE Super Blue. Only the color is different - the specs are the same. Switching between blue and gold is just easier to see when you are doing a flush/bleed.

    Hi Loren,

Is the Typ 200 already in the car? I do want to put racing brake

fluid in the car. I do not want to waste my time if the fluid in

the car can already be subjective to race braking temperatures. I

heard that the fluid in the car is good but I want a little bit

    more protection.

I like the idea of adding blue racing fluid because I like the

way the blue racing pads work. The blue pads grab better then

the stock pads and I do not want full race pads due to

all the city driving I do.

  4. Hi,

I will be droping off my car for the 20,000 mile

warranty next week. They told me that they will

not change the oil unless I ask them. I can change the

oil. Changing the oil is very easy. I read that

changing the oil is mandatory. I just wanted to let

    everyone know.

I will pay for them to change the transmission fluids.

I do want it done right the first time. They said that

changing the transmission filter is standard for

    them.

    Paul
