You can do it with a helper, on your own is difficult.
Pull the telescopic tube out with 2 flat screwdrivers, there is a strong resistance by a build in spring
Let the helper hold the telescopic tube as close as possible to the headlight while you remove the rest of the nozle
Push the new nozle/cover combination on the telescope
Thanks RFM,
Job done

Hi
I need to replace the headlight washer cover and jet nozzle on my 2003 C2.
Is it a simple DIY or should i book the car in shop? I already ordered the parts from Porsche Parts
Thanks

The title says it all. This isn't actually my car, but my uncle's. He's stuck about a couple hundred miles away from any Porsche dealerships, is missing his original tool for the tires, and has a flat. Has anyone had this problem before or can think of a solution?
I think it's a ~2000 C4 Cab 6spd.
Thanks.
I´m sorry but can´t you use one of those foam cans that will seal the inner of the tire. It´s readly available here in Portugal at every Gas station and if needed afterwards you can always have the tyre taken out of the rim, washed and the puncture repaired

A sudden drop to ZERO on the guage is a guarantee that there is NOT a pressure problem with the oil in your engine and it is either the gauge (unlikely) or (more likey) as mentioned above, the oil sending unit or connections. It would take a blown rod or similar malfunction that blew a hole in the lower end of the engine to get an instant drop in oil pressure. Obviously, this did not happen to your car, so I would sleep well and just find out what is causing it to report wrong Information.
Thanks,
Great forum

Hi
I was driving in the speedway, steady 150 kmh, when sudently the warning message - oil pressure indicator failure popped in the OBC and the needle droped to zero . No other signs or noises and after restrart everything went back to normal and I drove another 450 km without problem.
Should I be concerned or it may have been only a glitch?
Thanks

Hi there
Remover the cover and look for rubbing of the seat belt against the isolation foam inside the pannel

I have a 2003 C2 and it does exactly what is described at around 2800 to 3000 rpm.
I also have a Cooper S that has the ame behavior but at higher rpm´s

Hi,
Got the same problem a couple of months ago. You have to buy the all thing, not just the cover and it´s a easy DIY job. There´s a lot of parts supliers from UK ( do a goole search ) and they will ship it to you . Csot was around 60 Euros
