Damaged Crankshaft pulley possible causes
in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)

My 2000 996 c4, serpentine belt broke off into shreds, while inspecting the engine and removing the damaged belt, I found my crankshaft pulley guides were completely destroyed. If you guys have any idea what possibly could’ve went wrong let me know, thank you!
