  1. After a lot of reserch I discovered that it was the alarm siren that was the cause of all my problems. The siren when faulty will run constantly but without making any sound. It will put a constant low power drain on the battery. When the battery voltage is low enough the hazard light will keep flashing when the car is parked. This can also affect other alarm systems. Hopefuly this information will help others with this problem.
  2. I NEED TO REPLACE MY ALARM SIREN. WAS GIVEN TWO DIFFERENT PART NUMBERS FOR VW BOSCHE MADE . 1K0951605B / 1K0951605C WILL EATHER OF THESE FIT?
  3. I live in England and we just had a lot of snow. I did think it could have something to do with water. I will check that out thanks.
  4. Before Xmas my hazard light started flashing through the night. Battery was showing low voltage, so I brought a new bosche battery and got my merchanic to fit and code the battery. He told me there was a lot of electrical faults due to the low battery, He cleared the faults and retested for faults, none showed. All was fine for two nights, then the flashing started again. I read the faults on my icare pro II . It showed a fault with reaer passenger door lock actuator. I checked the door while it was locked was good, so I waited for the flashing to start and rechecked the door. I found that the door was unlocking and relocking itself. So ireplaced the door lock, as research told me that it was common for these Audi locks to lock and unlock when faulty. Two weeks have gone by without any problems, until last night . Hazard lights start flashining again. This time the faults shown are not comunicating with RL door proximity censor, Driver door proximity censor, rear and front lid censors. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing all these faults?
