  1. Forgot to add. The cayenne was burning what I would call an excessive amount of oil leading up to the repairs. 1.5-2 quarts burnt in 500 miles. I topped the oil off after repairs so time will tell if that issue is corrected.
  2. 06 Cayenne Turbo with 144k miles. Whitish blue smoke coming from exhaust. DTCs for multiple cylinder misfire. So I pulled the plugs. They were caked in oil. I replaced them. I know I should have replaced coils too but that was not in the budget at this time. I also replaced the Orange oil separator diaphragm. I removed and inspected the vent line 3 way check valve and the check valve flap going to the turbo vent hose was no good. I installed a oil catch can. Here is my question. I deleted the 3way check valve and have the oil separator vent pipes set up like a naturally asperated engine. So I have a line coming out of factory oil separator into the catch can. A line out of catch can directly to the intake manifold port. For the turbo vent line I shaved the base of a pod filter and fit it nice and tight. The turbo vent line is sucking fresh air through the filter. Am I harming anything running the engine like this? The check engine light turned off on its own. The engine seems to run fine. Idol is back to normal. No noticeable changes in power. This set up is temporary till I talk myself into buying a new 3 way check valve for $100. Or I will get 2 inline check valves, a plumbing T and some 5/8 hose and make my own for $25. I am interested to hear what your thoughts are. In the morning I will take them attach some pix of current set up.
