  1. I put in some new coilovers over memorial day on my 2001 996 C4 Coupe 6 speed and in the process let my battery die. Ever since it died, the driver's window doesn't come up and is stuck down all the way. When I try to put it up with the switch, it clicks in the door, but no movement, whirring, anything. The window worked perfectly prior to the battery dying. I think I tried to put the window down when the battery was just about dead, and pressing it was the last straw. When I jumped the battery, I think the driver's window was part way down if that's of any consequence. It would have gone all the way down during the battery jump process. I've tried a number of tricks to get it to go including the following, however none have worked: Undoing battery negative terminal then trying the window reset (hold down for 10 seconds, and up for 10 seconds) Undoing battery and unplugging the Comfort Control Module under the driver's seat (there was one plug I couldn't get undone) Checking the switch itself by using it on the passenger window that does work Closing the door firmly while pressing up on the switch to jolt the window motor Hitting the door near the motor while pressing up on the switch to jolt the window motor Checking fuses to see if they work (I didn't try the multimeter on the fuses, but when I took them out, the passenger window stopped working and then it worked when I put the fuses back, so I assume they are fine. Visual inspection doesn't show any issues) Pulling the door panel off to check the window motor - The regulator looked fine (not stretched out), however I couldn't really access the motor because with the window down, I can't get the speaker out of the door, meaning I can't get to the motor itself I've checked a gazillion forums and haven't gotten to an answer. Does anyone have any bright ideas as to what else I could try?
