  1. Hey guys I have a 2005 Porsche 997 Carerra S Cabriolet with approx 75K miles that was in storage for about a year. During that time the battery went dead. Put in a new battery from AAA and everything came back to life, obviously a lot of faults but they all worked out within a few miles of driving. Success! But, now I have a persistent warning light, and more annoyingly, chime for the drivers side seatbelt not being fastened. I ran my older diagnostic tool and wasn't able to read anything from POSIP. No matter, I figured, probably the tool, so I went ahead and had the seatbelt buckle assembly changed and cleaned the contacts under the seat. Alas, the seatbelt light and chime still come on. I then got a Foxwell NT530, figuring that would let me access POSIP and diagnose and hopefully just disable the chime (as many people have seem to have have done). However, whenever I connect the tool it cannot access POSIP and says "No Communication", I went through the other modules and noticed that it does the same thing for AWS (which seems like it might be related. I have a few other errors in PCM and Gateway but I'm almost sure those are related to the aftermarket moBridge adapter connected to the CAN bus and the PCM unit to allow bluetooth audio. It seems to access all the other modules and I am able to reset codes etc. Any help needed would be very appreciated! Its such an awesome car but impossible to drive with that chime constantly going off!
