According to my workshop manual, insturment cluster lights are B1 and B10 - both 15A. As mentioned above, you might have a faulty switch (part # 996.613.535.00 - approx $55 US). Good luck!

HI, my 2004 Boxster has a problem with the dash illumination & number plate lights, I have checked fuse A5 & replaced the number plate lights, but this problem still exists. I am out of warranty now, so can any one help !!!!!!
If you have a 2004, your warranty will expire in 2008 in the month it was purchased or 50K miles. I suspect you might have a faulty light switch

Hi all, I have replaced the Main Light Switch @ a cost of £77 which solved the problem. Not very good for a 2.5 year old car.
