Refined Motorsports in Etobicoke is the guy I trust with my 996. Henry is great. Honest guy that knows his p-cars.

I will be replacing the water pump next week as a result of a leak and seal/bearing failure. Started as a small leak with a whirring sound (as the bearings start to fail). Continued to be a complete failure with massive coolant loss.

Hey wwest - when I put the led bulbs in for my brake lights, my center led brake light no longer worked. Switched it with my stock one and it works. Is this a resistance issue I've heard about with turn signal bulbs?
Hi Glenn, did the brake light LEDs at least work? Maybe you just have a polarity issue. Other than normal bulbs LEDs need the correct polarity to work right.
Thorsten
Yes - the LED brake lights worked fine - the center LED just wouldn't light. What I haven't done is switched out the LED brake lights to make sure the LED centre is still operating. May try that this weekend.
Tanks for your input.

I like the look of LEDs. Not sure if LED tail lights exist for the 996.Complete LED bulb set in my 2001 C4 from V-leds, velocity leds on ebay.com, even markers.

986jim - did you have any issues with installing the HID kit on a Canadian car? I have heard there were some issues on using an HID kit with Daytime running lights.
Thanks Glenn
http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10247Same thing.
It's an H7 HID kit, there's nothing boxster specific about it other than it's H7 which is not Boxster specific either, many cars use H7.
I bought them from cqlight.ca and they were much cheaper and the results quite stunning. Any old HID kit will work as long as it's H7.

Dropping your front end is what worked for me. A combination of a lip spoiler, suspension drop is what cured the problem for me.
