  1. Depends on depth of scratch If you cannot feel it with fingernail then normal polish should take it out (Meguiars Cleaner Wax for example) If it can be felt but is not through the clearcoat then try cleaner wax again, before moving onto more abrasive types. If its into the silver then you will need to replace the clearcoat locally before buffing with an abrasive compound (again start with gentle compound and work up) If it through the silver then need to replace the silver and the clearcoat - this can be done if you're patient with nothign more than a broken matchstick
  2. The reset being used by OPCs in England is :- press Preset1, Preset4 and TP simultaneously
  3. Yeah, Phil worked for them in the early to mid nineties before splitting off to form SQ+ up north. Awesome compaines both - I think there is a 996 on the SQ site somewhere
  4. matt, try tsalking to prestige audio (London?) or SQ+ in manchester - they have done loads of installs in Boxsters/996s. Phil (Manchester) is about the best audio guy in the UK nowadays, and is always happy to give advice whatever your budget. www.sqplus.com
  5. colour coded to prevent cross threading, one is clockwise, other anticlockwise (to prevent unscrewing as you drive !)
  6. Thanks - have now been given a link by the 996 guys
  7. Thanks, I'm pretty certain they're the ones I'd seen before
  8. Goit a Boxster on order for May build. I'm loathed to pay my OPC £220 ($400) for a pair of stainless door sill guards, and somewhere (I'm pretty certain on this forum / garage section) I saw some pics of a door sill guard with Porsche crests and model designation I can't remember whether this was on a 911 or Boxster, but was seal grey from recollection, and had one crest. Whoever's it was, was also selling them, albeit without the crest Any ideas ??
