  1. question ,what temperature should my car be running .. in traffic it goes up to right before the middle line between 180 and 250, those that mean around 210 or 215 and is that safe ?

    2000 996 tip with 130k miles daily driver.

    new water pump and thermostat.

    here 2 pics ... in traffic it gets a bit hotter, but it never passes the white line.

    Not to hijack this post, but I would be more concerned with you low oil pressure!

  2. The problem may be located under your right foot. :P

    I've found my first couple tanks haven't lasted very long either. Then again, I have been watching the boost-o-meter more than the fuel gauge.

    You're probably not completely filling the tank either. There are posts that people are getting a few gallons less that the capacity of the tank.
