Three questions:
Is it possible to replace Anniversary Edition's suspension with a standard suspension? What parts will need to be swapped to make it work? Can I go to 17" wheels on the Anniversary Edition?
Background:
I have lusted after Porsches for years, but my needs did not fit into a two-seater. But now they do, so I am currently in the hunt for a Boxster. I love the Anniversary Edition but the ride is too stiff for my roads and my enjoyment. A non-expert suggested finding someone with a standard-suspension Boxster and swapping parts. He said to post here to get expert information on what will and won't work and exactly what parts must be swapped to make it all work. Guesses and probablies won't help me. I won't buy this model unless the swap is sure to work.
Thank you.

I live in Maryland and Maine. When it is time to replace suspension you can read about it here.
