Thanks for the info, right now i am sick to my stomach, I had a good run with porsche 944,boxster and the 911.. but i am not going to buy anymore.. As i am not sure what the insurance is going to give me .... i owe on the car a few thousand so

no good ending insurance totaling car, i will have a chance to buy the car back but not sure I will.. where should I get a rebuilt motor... there is meistor motors who i called n spoke to who said they can rebuild my motor 4k....

Dipstick oil is dark like the oil color should be .

The oil is not "milkshake " , when the car died , I had to pump the gas to get it started again drove it mile n the it started smoking out . The oil is normal colored .

Does the motor shot ? It won't start ? What's my next step if it is hydro locked ?

Ok, so I got LED bulbs and put them License Plate Light which located top underneath of the rear bumper. Well the bulbs do not stay on and actually flicker when I hit bumps or bang my hand against the bumper they either flicker or go out completely. What's the deal? I inspected the internals on the harness and light socket to my surprise nothing was wrong with them i could see... now what are my options? Get a whole new 997 631 620 02 for the left and right side? Or does the LED bulbs do this in this patricular location? Any help be grateful .

I have had the new parts on for a week and I can tell you now that my car drives amazing. No more creaking and rattling noises. Also feels much tighter on turns and ehances the coilovers as they should feel. I am running 19s all the way around and they do not rub and make the car's stance very aggressive. My next upgrades are the turbo front bumper (which is already bought) and the Turbo rear lid cover ( already bought also with everything intact with the wing). I bought the bumper for $500 shipped to me in mint condition wth all the grilles and the rear ld cover i bought for $400. There was someone who did the turbo rear lid on here but kind did it "ghetto", no offense but the lid lock latch did not lock and it was rigged instead of moving the latch on the lid and re-fiberglassing the old hole where the latch was. I have an awesome body guy who works on lambos,ferraris, race cars all day so he said its no problem. I will post pictures when done.

Well picked up my car today and let me tell you it drives like it was brand new. I am the second owner of the and got it with some mileage on it but between the coilovers and all the new suspension parts it's like I just took it off the show room. I have owned about 15 cars in my life so and 10 of them have been brand new cars. The porsche blows them away and its 10 yrs old . Def. a great investment to do the full suspension.

I do not have more car back yet as I am suppose to pick it up tomorrow. I am sure its going to be a major upgrade but I will give you my opinion as soon as I drive it.

I have 2002 c2 , tiptronic with 82k miles. I recently put coilovers and loved the way it drives but I noticed squeaking coming from the bushings in the front end. So I went to mechanic and had him replace everything in the front/ rear suspension . Being that I had that many miles on my car I figured it was more piece of mind to replace everything . Cost of parts are roughly $2200 . Plus labor . The parts replaced as follow :

lower Control Arms, upper

Control Arm,Sway Bar Links front/rear

Tie RodEnds front/rear ,Steering Rack Boots

Engine Mounts

Thank you , I had oem set of18s blk wheels prior to these are 19s size. I have coilovers on the car which makes the car driving experience awesome.

When I go over a bump I hear squeaking noises from front n rear . Sometimes I hear them on flat surfaces as well . Less than a yr ago I had the front driver's side lower control arm replaced . My mechanic with out putting it on the lift stays it sounds like bushings as he test drove it . The rear sounds like it my be too low and hitting the rear exhaust pipes . Any idea ? If bushings need to be replaced can someone give me a listing of the bushings and part #s

I got the k & n intake as well , was trying to get more sound with the 200 cell cats

I have the stock modified mufflers.. the same concept as the fister style

I want it more for sound than anything else.. you think I can use an universal cat?

Has anyone put on universal 200 cell sport cats on their car if so how did you fix the the 02 sensor hole issue. There are porsche cats on ebay that have no holes in them. The first link has a hole for 02 sensor but my car has O2 sensor before cat and after cat. Any of these will work?

Thanks guys for the opinons, as promised here is a better picture of the wheels. Also I have extra tpc supercharger kit for the 996/997 model. Its used but in really good shape the kit is complete nothing missing. Shoot me an offer or if you know someone let them know about it.
