  1. This is a cooling water channel, the cover is secured with four bolts. The metal seal between housing and cover is leaking and needs to be replaced, this occurs regularly. The work is easy to do, drain cooling water, clean the edges of the housing and cover, replace the metal seal, refill cooling water. Please note, to avoid filling and venting problems cooling water must be refilled with a vacuum device, this is very important to avoid an overheated and therefore defected engine.

  2. It seems that the starter motor remains activated, there could be something wrong with the electronic ignition switch system. It is not normal for the startermotor to engage automatically after stalling. There is a problem between the electronic ignition lock and the release of the electronic ignition system(DME). An investigation is in order here. Is there sometimes an additional alarm/anti carjack installed?

  3. Remove the interior from the valve, instal one or two tensioning straps, which used in the transport sector, around the rim/spare tire and tighten well, let it rest overnight. The spare wheel will now fit, replace the interior back in the valve. Otherwise it will be an uneven fight, success.

  4. The post cat sensors do both 1) monitoring the cat efficienty and 2) taking care of the mixture fine tuning by correcting the values after the cat, too rich or too lean via the control box, they are also oxygen sensors. the best result is obtained with only a small change from time to time compared to the pre cat sensors especially at full acceleration. This is also a  quick check that the sensor is working and therefore not blocked.
