    Hi, I bought a pair of 996 sport seats with silver painted back. I currently have full power seats w/ memory, and the sport ones are electric on just the back, not the lower part. Do I need different harness? will the memo function still work?? thanks

    For those who don't have rain sensors, and want to keep intermittent wiper switch, I just did some re-wiring and the module works now with a in-dash switch!!

    You have to turn key and put in the position where all lights come on.

    Both, I have a 6speed, but will work with tip as well.

    Takes about 30 min. to install. Clutch switch is bypassed!

    thanks. The cap is originally red with engine start written in white, Im customizing mine... I wired up a power outlet light trim, to give it a oem look. I have a spare set assembled, if anyone interested pm me.

    Hi guys, I installed a rain sensor in my 996, so I had no use for the intermittent wiper switch. I started looking into what to replace it with, didn't had alot of option, another power outler? what about a start button?? So I tried a couple of universal kit out there, but they either didn't work or switches really didn't match with the interior decor, or ran the battery down. So I customized a kit with the proper relay and wires, and found a switch, which sits flush with the trim. A kit specifically for the 996s. Now all I gotta do is put the key in, press the button and voila!! B)

    I heard here someone installed it on the boxster section and worked out nicely... I still have to put the key in and turn it to last position and then press button. I thought I had to connect it under dash, behind ignition?

    Hi Loren, Im trying to install a engine start button kit, it requires me to hookup the two wires from kit to the leads coming from ignition barrel that lead to the starter motor solenoid. In this case, are we talking about two yellow wires from 50? How to locate these wires easily? thanks

    Hi, My alarm chirps once when I lock the doors, and if it doesn't chirp alarm goes off after a couple of minutes. I got it scanned(forgot the code) but was something about unsyncronised keys, but keys work fine. any thoughts?? thanks
