    Ok, I unplugged the battery and removed the Z2, I was trying to figure out what was the problem for about 20 min. and then when I plugged back the battery, the car started. and the Z2 worked too, I guess some kind of hard reset. thanks anyways guys.

    yes I checked all the fuses and unplugged battery to reset but still no luck.

    Hi everyone, I was triying to install a backup camera on my AVIC Z2 today, and while I was splice'n the power wires it touched toghether, and the Z2 just turned off as if it blew up a fuse. I tried resetting it but no luck. Now on my car everything works but the engine wont start. lights works everything works, just wont start. I know I should have uplugged the battery, but kinda slipped my mind. Please share your thought on what might have happend, any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

    I just got installed an avic Z2, right after the install the air bag light is On. I went to get it removed and they told me its both driver and passenger seat belt sensor..then later that day the air bag light went On again, and still is. Can someone help me out on this one, what exactly happened and how can I fix this. thanks

    hi, just finished installing the spoiler switch and garage door switch, but I cant seem to find my radio code anywhere. Tool pants, your help will be really appreciated. Im going on a 5 hour trip and it sucks with no radio... CDR220 TYPE 4662 SERIAL W5003553 thank you

    Hi, I'm thinking of installing an AVIC Z1 nav system on my 99 996, I removed my climate control to the lower console and removed radio, do I need to buy the upper console made for PCM or I can modify mine to fit it. Also, if anyone can tell me if I can put 19" wheels, and if so what would be tire sizes. thanks.

    I bought a pair of litronic headlights for my 99 996 from ebay, with no wiring...the guy told me plug n play. Would it cause any short circuit or anything or there is no harm.. Plus any tips to lock the headlights in place.
