  1. I forgot to add to my previous post, with the codes 1411 and 0410, would I need the change over valve, check valve, or both
  2. thanks fellows. I just received the notice in the mail last week and I still have about a month.
  3. It's time to take my 00 C4 thru emissions. . The codes 1411 and 0410, which is SAI, pops up and I know I need to replace the change over valve. My question is if I just clear the codes with my code reader and then take it thru inspection, will I fail the inspection. I have time to replace it, but just wondering if I can get by inspection with clearing the codes. I've been trying to find the valve online, but haven't had any luck. Can someone direct me as to where I can order it besides the dealer? thanks
  4. I removed the cupholders and saw some raw wires touching metal. I used electrical tape and taped everything that looked suspect. Wipers work like a champ now. The cupholder mod is moving the climate control to the bottom and installing cupholders in the top part of the console.
  5. Does anyone know what would cause the wiper to blow fuses. It worked good for a while and all of a sudden it stopped working. Found out that the fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and after one swipe, it blew again. The only thing I can think of is it probably has something to do with the cupholder mod I did last night. But I'm confused why It worked good for about twenty minutes and then blew. 00 C4.
  6. I'm looking for this information. I also have a C4, and when time comes for my clutch, I'm going to do the same.
  7. Update on horn problem. I removed the bumper, unpluged both horns and fuse was ok. I then pluged one at a time and found that the horn in the rear shorted the fuse. I was able to blow the horn when the good horn was pluged. But an hour later I tried the same thing and now neither horn works and still blowing fuses. Just thought I'd update. Well, it could be something else a whole lot worse. Thanks for all your help.
  8. I'll try and post results tomorrow, don't have time today. Thanks
  9. My horn on my car, 00 C4, stop working. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I put another fuse in it and it blew right away. I'm thinking I have a short somewhere. I've read post about the bushings on the airbag frame could be a possiblity. My question, what is the proper way to access the airbag frame without the bag going off in my face. Anyone have the steps involved in in doing this? thanks
  10. I had the exact same problem, 1126 & 1133. My car, also 00 C4, problem was fixed with a new MAF. Part # 996.606.124.00
  11. thanks for the reply Loren. Is this something that could damage my engine?
  12. I pulled a P0115 this afternoon, which has to do something to do with coolant temp. sensor. how serious is this.
