Not a common fault at all. Does it worsen when filling the tank or if it's full? A fuel leak is nothing to ignore so I recommend taking it in and getting it sorted asap. The vapour is collected and a closed system but if there was a fault in this system you would have a check engine light which you don't mention.
I recently had the raw fuel smell issue on my 2006 S. Dealer said that it was a fairly common problem here in AZ with the severe heat. The fuel pressure regulator gasket had deteriorated and was leaking. The replaced that as well as the gaskets for the two strainers. Fixed under CPO warranty.

Are the tips for the 4S the same as for the S?

997.111.352.02 was replaced by 997.111.352.03
and then 997.111.352.03 was replaced by 997.111.352.04.
Likely different vendors.
Thanks.

What is the difference between Part #'s 997.111.352.02 and 997.111.352.04? Is it the finish? One polished and the other brushed?

The booster seat I use is the "Recaro Vivo Lite", it fits well in the back and has worked great. It has a backrest. There are some boosters that don't have backrests and if you kid is big enough that'd be even easier to use.
If you do a forum search I think you'll be able to find some other suggestions as well...
Really appreciate the recommendation. Thank you.
I have an '06 S Cab and the Dakota Combi is a backless booster that fits pretty well in the back seat. Since the shoulder belt attachment point is so low anyway, the booster seats with a back and a shoulder harness "guide" don't really improve the fit of the shoulder belt. Also, without a back the child sits further back from the back of the front seat and has a lot more room. I also just purchased a Porsche Plus Junior Child seat (Part #955-044-801-03). It is a great seat which fits in both the front and the back. The front seat air bag is deactivated at less than 70lbs so you can safely put your child in front (Porsche also offers an airbag deactivation kit which is about $3-400 installed if you don't trust the sensor). The seat is made by Britax and is similar to their "non Porsche" seats. It seems like Porsche had them eliminate the cup holders to make the base small enough to fit.
PM me if you have any questions.

I recently purchased a 2006 S Cab that has a set of 20" TechArt Formula Wheels with Conti SportContact3 tires. Wheels are in excellent condition. Rear tires are new and fronts have 50% tread left but are 5 years old. Any idea of the resale value of this package? Anyone interested? I think I am going to just use the 19" carrera S wheels that also came with the car.

I am looking at a pretty well equipped 2006 S and am having trouble deciphering the option codes. Can someone help?
These are the codes on the build sticker:
XF7 BOD CJ6 GOR H9M JOZ D9K Q2J
1G1 1XK 1NE 5RR 5SG T91
OBB 3S4 QGO 8DQ 8GH 8L6
1KY 1LL 3FE OGM
OY2 4UQ 4KO N7F 5TF
9VL 2JB EOA OAB OBB
OJF OYC
The only ones I have been able to track down are 3FE (Moonroof), 9VL (Bose) and N7F (Soft Look Leather). Car has Heated Seats, Light Wood trim and Navigation.
Thanks.

There were no MY07 Cayennes imported by PCNA. Also, 2009 brought the updated PCM with the touch screen if you get one with NAV.
