Hi Folks,
I've had a 997 c2s for around a year now. I had a small shoulder op few months ago and now find the standard seats very uncomfortable. To cut a long story short I have managed to aquire (via ebay) a set of powered sports seats (the ones with wings) that are much more comfortable. I assumed that I would be able to just swap them out and that the wiring loom would have an unused plug sat waiting for me. Doh. Can any one give me advice or supply a wiring diagram and a part number for the plug. I've checked out the airbags and they appear to be operational (no error warning).
Thanks in anticipation

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a solution to using the phone in the 997 without
having to take out my sim card from my mobile every time.
Vodafone tells me they do not make copies of sim cards.
Thanks!
Jorge
"Single Number lets you have the same number on your Orange mobile phone and on your PDA or car phone. Which means one bill, one Answerphone, one price plan ..." http://www.business.orange.co.uk/servlet/S...d=1135953583381
Orange in the Uk provide for this - you get two sim's on the same number. when the car sim is switched on all your calls go to that sim. as soon as you switch it off then all calls go to the other sim - it simple and it works. The only downside is when you lend you porsche to someone else - they get all your calls. The souloution - never lend out your porsche !!!
BTW it a five quid a month service
Advice on wiring
in 997-1 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 2S, Carrera 4S)

I dont give up that easy.
these seats are the adaptive sports seats. There are two connectors on the drivers seat and only one on the passenger.
Does anyone have available the wiring diagrams for these seats? and would anyone be willing to carry out a simple test for me. If you unplug the drivers side connector that goes to the black box (as apposed to the connector that goes to the yellow socket) does the seat still have power (do the seat controls still work) ?
The reason I ask is that I am not bothered about the memory or automated seat positioner (based on which key is is used to start the car) just the function of the seats. Anything has got to be better than the standard seats !
