I think you may have a wheel sensor or strut sensor going bad (if air suspension)
-
-
Never heard of this method of resetting adaptation before
-
the pumps are in fact under the rear seats, you have to lift cutouts in the carpeting to access the covers
-
you should be able to transfer the subscription to a new adapter but no way you can use the adapter, maybe the antenna
-
Trev
there are a couple of magnets under the cover surrounding the stick that controls location of transmission for the dash. Not sure if they do anything else
What happens when you use the steering wheel controls ?
-
If its what I think it is is the check valve which holds pressure on the gas system while you fill up. They fail and you get strange starting after a fill up
-
The electronic thermostat fails on 957's
Just had mine replaced
-
I did read that the pumps had been updated but did not know they now had to be replaced as a pair, wow thats not cheap !
-
The updated part number applies to post 2007 and has a different frequency. Pretty sure the second answer is no

There are 2 antenna's connected to the rear of the radio, I would check to make sure they are both on.
The antenna are inside of the rear spoiler which can be accessed by opening the rear GLASS and you will be able to access the screws which holds the top part from the bottom.
Check for water damage or obvious mechanical electrical issues

I had my S in deep dry sand, I had no trouble, PSM off, high revs and don't chicken out

buy the whole arm with the new joints in, easier
-
They all lead back to the ac control unit. They replaced a lot of those in the early days under warranty, not a hard job since you can actually see it. Worth a try I would think.

Gents,The CEL came on last Friday so I hooked up the Durametric and ran the fault test. The only code to come up was 0021. I reset the fault and it came back on within 60 miles. The car runs perfectly fine in all areas of operation and rpm. I did a little research on this and checked the camshaft deviation while the engine was running, bank 1 read 2.62 CA and bank 2 read .37 CA.If someone can point me in the right direction on how to accomplish the below maintenance, I would really appreciate it.Semper FiP0021 Adjustment of Inlet Camshaft in relation to Crankshaft, Bank 2 – Signal ImplausiblePossible cause of fault- Dirt in oil circuit- Sealing strips on inlet camshaft adjuster faulty- Oil pressure too low- Mechanical fault in inlet camshaft adjuster- Magnetic hydraulic valve faulty
Try an oil change first and maybe a flush

not all the time you can drive thru it if its only 1, any error codes ?
-
Wow I would have said the things you already fixed. I would recheck the coils first, just a visual inspection
-
Agree fuel pressure pre flight not setting up. Purge Valve or a fuel pump

Audi used turbochargers with variable vanes on the compressor wheels, some of them even with a mechanical charger, Roots blower, extra in front of the turbo (TFSI engines). Porsche used for your Cayenne two classic turbo's with fixed vanes on the compressor wheels, hence the difference.
So what happened with the 957 08 + where those issues disappeared ?

hesitation is the lovely design feature of early 955s that we all hate. Many things contribute including the Egas Adaptation which can slow response to throttle. turn off PSM and drive it hard for 30 minutes and see the difference. Transmission control units can also slow response
If you want to go fast "now" knock the gears down by hand
-
I would say front Diff, they get noisy
-
controller toast, again a common 04 problem
Random PSM failures and problems. Please help
in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)
