Getting a suspension workshop on the screen when it's running the starter now. Put the scangauge on it and the voltage is about 11.5 volts with the key on, engine off and drops down to about 8.5v when the starter is turning over. Picks up to 13.6v when running. Thinking battery now since I've owned it for about 4 years now, bought CPO, and it's on the same battery as when I bought it.
Sounds like a good idea, these do weird things when the battery starts to go

I get that error with my winter wheels which have pre 08 sensors (wrong frequency) sounds like a bad sensor to me

The horseshoe trim around the PCM can be replaced using a dental hook, start at the bottom of each side and gently pull, then work your way around. VERY easy
The flat section has 2 screws at the back and then just lifts up and slides back as i recall, there are no more screws

Without knowledge of the actual unit.
Assume coolant pipes were replaced
Brake Rotors / Pad due but if CPO has to be 50% left same for tires
Drive Shaft ?
Front Struts ?
115k is ok, I know users over 250K

driving in terrain mode n the freeway would be inherently unstable and PSM would not be happy

The one with the gray sponge around is the Fiber circuit for the CDC

If they have not tried re-programming the unit - I would highly suggest that. Many times a supposed bad controller has just had it's memory scrambled and needs to be re-programmed.
If they insist then take it to another dealer for "second opinion".
+1

Audio will work, I think someone has done this
Errors will occur tho if DVD Drive is not present, can be annoying

Most likely the oil change peeps were not very careful, I have seen the covers wired closed because of loose / broken connectors

I am Porsche newbie.., please help...
I recently purchased 06 Cayenne S.
I didn't know it came with power tail gate closing function like Mercedes S class.... - [Not all models were fitted, you need to check the VIN or original sticker]
Anyway... tailgate has to be slammed to be shut tight.
According to the manual it just needed to be hooked and the system pulls...
no... not doing it...
I have searched the forum and check the fuse.... except the fuse for the subwooper... everything is okay...
Fuse #30 labeled for power lift gate...it is fine... I even replaced it with new one... still not pulling... -[ You have a POWER LIFTGATE ? does it auto open ?]
One more strange thing is.... Rear cargo area lamps are all gone... I took them out and tried, the bulbs are all okay...
but nothing comes on. when the tail gate opens.
There are two at the bottom inside of the tail gate and one right on top center of the cargo area.
Last.... air flow from the rear center outlet where the center console is too weak... Front is more than enough.... -[ Normal behavior, was always rotten in the back ]
so I reduce the A/C fan speed... then rear passengers started to complain....
Any thought? Please....

And that is the only way to turn AC off, its normally on for all other conditions

The cinch shut system was not on all 04's not sure what the option was, but at the time there was discussion about why some worked and some did not. Dealers generally fixed under warranty but not sure what they did apart from adjusting

Without a real PIWIS Licence they cannot get the manufacturing codes for your VIN. The fact that the ran the battery down tells me that they do not know how to use it since the first rule of PIWIS is Put the Battery on charge first.
I think they broke the ECU, never heard of an ECU frying

I saw a diy on how to get them apart and back together once. Bought one from ebay and can no longer find the diy :-( dumb@$%

ipods do not continuously charge, they achieve 100% state and go into a quiescent state.
Have had an iPod in my Cayenne(s) since 2003 and never ran down the battery
-
I think you need to get this hooked up to PIWIS, sounds to me like its thinking a module that is not present is present. I would like to see the list of components the MOST system lists
-
This indicates that the compressor is running to much (to me) eventually you will need to maintain it but the cause sounds more like a leak somewhere. dealer
-
remember you may have to set the height again using PIWIS although I think Durametric can do it

Sorry Colin, thought I sent you a PM. Porsche has cut off access to the VIN system sorry

Your coils most likely need to be replaced, see if you can get a code reader like durametric to isolate which ones. change the plugs also since they get damaged
