Need Help with Wiring Brake Controller for Cayenne
in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)
Posted
I'm looking to get a trailer to tow my C4S"R" :) to the track but I'm having trouble finding a shop that will hook up a brake controller because my local Porsche dealer won't give them wiring information... It's making me wonder if they actually know :-)
Has anyone verified what the wiring schematic for the brake controller on a Cayenne? It was posted on the forum that the harness under the cover by the emergency brake is wired as follows:
pin 1 is ground
pin 2 is permanent power
pin 3 is the break signal for the controller
pin 4 is the break output (goes to the tow bar socket)
Thanks,
PureC4S
