The felt I am looking at is the one when the sunroof is closed and I am viewing from the exterior.

My felt was destroyed by previous wax jobs.

Based on the problem, you can go to most competent tire shops to get the job done. If need further expertise; johnson's or west end but everybody knows Darren is the best and you need to book two weeks ahead.

based on my reading of this post....gurney strip should be left as is ie black as oppose to be painted like what Loren did?

I just installed aero wing from MA Shaw. Nice piece of art. When I installed it with supplied harness 996 612 070 51 on 2001 Carrera 2; i get warning light the hood is open? but in reality it is closed shut and so goes with trunk too.......do I have to re pin it? if so how do I do it........

The hood is open light?

Sounds like a bad harness. The only thing the -051 harness should change is the spoiler light (not the rear lid light).

I have not driven the car since October, so I took it out for a spirit drive and 30 minutes into the drive I get CEL. I ran the code from OBD 2 reader and it reads P1128.

P 1128 bank 2 oxygen sensing adaption, upper load...what does this mean? Can I still drive the car? Is this serious?

Yes, you're right. Sorry about that. The procedure is similar for a 996 but not exactly the same.

Hi All - My mechanic says I need to replace my crack oil separator because everytime I start the car huge amount of white smoke bellows out and this is the cause of the smoke.
