Ok, so what keeps a double din unit from falling out after you put it in the place of the oem radio and move the ac control unit to the cd holder area which is then removed? :)

I have a question regarding the amp when installing aftermarket system specifically the AVIC. How do you wire this up? Also is the antenna amplied?

Just purchased a Pioneer AVIC D3 for my 2002 911 Cab. Where can i get a wiring harness for this? Crutchfield and several other online stores say they dont carry it. Do i have to cut the factory wiring to do this install?

Thanks for your input flash-80
I had my PCM1 nav/radio/tape/CD changer unit removed and replaced with a AVIC-Z2 in-dash unit take a look this is actually my car before and after photo's.
Will an AVIC D3 work with an 02 911 CS? When did the MOST Sytem take effect?

Is the wood being glued to plastic? - If yes then try "gorilla glue." be careful because it foams slightly but will stay very well. On the other hand, "liquid nails" from home depot with work great as well. Either of these methods will be permanent so make sure you never want the parts to come apart sometime in the future.
Aslo try GOOP for autos

I own a 2002 C2 911 with stock Bose radio and speakers. I assume this is not the Most System which limits radio upgrade choices. Im looking for suggestions for upgrading to include included GPS/DVD/Bluetooth.
