  1. My service light just came on my 06 Cayenne S - I have 20+k on it. I looked at the Service I in the manual and it is all a waste of $$ spent at the dealer ( no real work done other than oil change ). So I am looking to get a OBD II reader / code reset tool - any opinions on who makes the best?

  2. HELPPPP! I did the same as the below - What is the other oil? It did have a green hue with metallic looking pieces and smelled. Does anyone know what that is and how to replace it???

HELP PLEASE...I followed the steps below BUT the only second 8mm plug that I found did not have motor oil! when I removed it, some smelly green hue oil drained from it, I'm sure it is nit motor oil...does anyone know what kind of oil might have been in that receptacle as I will have to replace it...also, where is the second 8mm drain plug? I could not find it anywhere...

Here is a picture of the drain plug I wasn't supposed to have removed.

    Thank you

1- Remove the front plastic under panels (about 7 screws)

2- Now you can remove the rear plactic under panel (about 4 screws)

3- With a 8mm socket wrench unscrew and drain both plugs, clean, and put plugs back in

4- Undo Oil filter housing and discard old filter

5- Install new Oil Filter housing with new filter

6- Re-install rear and then front plastic panels back

    7- Fill with 9 quarts of 0-40 Mobil 1
