I too have this problem (mine the button actually fell off). I got the repair kit from the dealer but I am struggling to install it. It is a real neck twister to see up there.
Is there a trick to it? I can't seem to get the old spring out. I am not even sure if it pushes up or down. Any experiaences shared will help.

I am looking to buy the Durametric code reader and i came across this:

Is is any good? Anyone have experience with it?
The dealer quoted my $1,600 for the 90 KMS Major service. I am in shock. It is just an oil/filter, air filter and sparkplug change.

I haven't got the code yet. I assume I have to go to the dealer for that or buy the Durametric. Is that correct or is there another way to get the code?

I have a 04 Cayenne S and just got the Air Bag Fault Light. I know I need to either go to the dealer to have the light reset or buy the Durametic. But what would be the "likely" cause? I live in Ontario Canada and this is my daily driver, so I guessing corrosion on one of the seat or seatbelt connections.
On a sort of related note my brake pad indicator has come on and i am planning on doing the brakes myself. Will that light reset automatically or will I need the Durametric for that as well?

What is the part number for the wire the rear (drivers side) brake sensor connect to? I broke mine trying to disconnect the old brake sensor. 2004 Cayenne S Silver Calipers
